Abingdon Spares, the World’s Largest MG TC-TD-TF Parts Specialist, was formed by Jerry Goguen in 1968 in Needham, MA. Jerry was a sports car enthusiast, who also founded and directed The Westminster MG Car Museum in Westminster, VT.
After the company moved to Walpole, NH, Bob Seymour purchased the company from Jerry in about 1995.
Abingdon Spares relocated to Deep River, Connecticut in 2015. The present owner’s, brothers Martin and Ed Cooke, purchased the entire inventory of new and used parts, tools, manuals, posters, assorted automobilia, even the shelving, basically recreating the former New Hampshire (MG) landmark in southern New England. “We moved everything that was movable, quite a collection of rare and hard to find parts assembled by former owners Bob Seymour and Jerry Goguen”, said Martin.
Long known as one of the foremost supplier of NOS, and quality reproduction MG T-series parts, Abingdon Spares, L.L.C. now occupies two stories in the quaint Connecticut River town of Deep River. Their reputation of providing great customer service and a complete inventory of T-series parts has also followed the company to Connecticut.
